Mothers Day

Ahhh - I got to sleep in, had a yummy pancake breakfast, (and a yummy lunch and dinner) the dishes were clean and I was able to shop ALONE for plants to put in the garden by myself. What more could you ask for?
Oh!
A playground for them to play in by themselves so Mommy can actually finish the book she's been trying to read for the past two months.
Wahoo - this has been a perfect day for me....too bad tomorrow goes back to reality. Sigh.

A Massive Work in Progress

Well, this is what we have done so far and I have to say I am pretty impressed. Andy designed the whole thing (an enormous 8' x 6' playhouse)and with the help of his brother Matt one day, we got this much done in just a week. A 10 foot wave slide, stairs, a picnic table (already been used for several meals and coloring pictures)and playhouse are done so far. Now, all we have left to do is the monkey bars with swings and the roof of the playhouse itself. I think I might even add a windowbox with some flowers......

The kids are already thrilled and Mommy has more time to herself......

Daddy's Little Helpers

We all tried our best to get the playground up and running on Mothers Day since Andy was going to leave town for a week on business. Since it was Mothers Day, I didn't have to do much....but our two little ones were great helpers for Daddy. They handed him boards and screws, they measured with the tape measure and Heidi even did some staining of the wood. Fantastic work!

The Barking Crab

Here we are at The Barking Crab on the channel in Boston with Matt and Jen! We got to spend a day with them at the beginning of their vacation. Its been awhile since we have seen them both, so it was a real treat for all of us!

Heidi's Future Career

Here she is - digging holes in the Boston streets. Safety first, of course.

This "tryout" is courtesy of the Boston Childrens Museum - a very cool museum and such a short drive away. We are REALLY happy about our move to CT - we are just in such a perfect location!

Baby #3 First Profile Portrait

Well, here it is, the third one - a cute profile of its little nose and big ole noggin. What can we say, Andy and I just make em big. Everything is going well at 18 weeks and will hopefully stay that way! Kisses little one!
