Erik Standing Up Already!?

OK, we thought he was lazy because he didn't start crawling as early as his sister, but when he pulled this manuever earlier than his sister, we all heaved a sigh of fear. Could a little terror be coming our way?

Not even 8 1/2 months and already pulling himself up on the furniture? - I see a whole lot of bumps and bruises in our near future.....

Happy Wagon Riders

We all got to enjoy some beautiful weather these past few days and I decided to take Erik out on his first wagon ride. Big sister came along too. I am pretty certain they enjoyed themselves........

Daddy and Son

We took a long weekend trip to Northern Connecticut to see about a new place to possibly live. We had a huge king sized bed in our hotel room which Erik found very comforting.

Happy St Patty's Day!

So, what else is there to do on St. Patty's Day but drink?

We made a trip down to Virginia to visit Papa, Aunt Tara, the 'Ashburn, VA' Parmiters and a whole lot more family for the holiday. The irish coffees flowed as well as the baileys and the ouzo. Ouch.

Just look at that form! Wow! I see dance lessons in our future! I guess this means we are entering the 'dress up' phase of toddlerhood!

Erik's Swim Class

Erik started swim class in January 07 and has taken to the water as you can see! He is such a happy little boy - especially when he is splashing mommy!

With the record player spinning (and skipping with all Heidi's exuberant jumping) and a willing camerawoman, you can catch some wonderful moments....sigh.

Heidi definitely likes playing in the snow, well, more like she likes eating the snow. Well, as long as we're having fun!

Erik's First Sledding Experience

Well, I think he likes it! It was freezing outside up in Minerva, but we managed to spend a few minutes or so sledding up and down the driveway of the camp. Erik was delighted with it all. Just look at that coy little smile!

Briarpatch - Snowshoeing

Here we are on our first family "snowshoe" through the woods behind Andy's parents camp. It was really deep snow, but we made it around a short loop with the kids after taking many passes with the snowshoes to tamp the trail first. Brrrrrrr
