I can't believe it! We are finally in our new home and it is starting to look better too! I spent everyday during naptime painting shutters and ripping out overgrown Yew bushes. I planted new bushes and perennials and painted the front door Ruby Red. A couple of window planters on the front porch railing and some discounted plants go a long way. I even had my first electrical experience when I changed our three outdoor lights with nice new Mission-style ones! Wow! I did a great job! pat pat pat....

Finger Painting!
We got a note from her teacher saying that she didn't want to get her fingers dirty finger painting at school so she used a brush instead - well, we had to fix that! I would say we did our job!
First Day of School!!!!!???
Wow! This happened quickly! We moved into our new home for good around Labor Day weekend, had a huge gang of people over to visit for the weekend, potty trained Heidi the next week and then put her right into school. phew!
She LOVES it. Just twice a week for about 3 hours, she goes to a local preschool and plays and learns and creates. I am so glad that I finally painted the Chalkboard/Magnetic Wall in the kitchen because it is already covered with artwork. We are proud parents!
Walking
Erik took his first steps on Fathers Day at exactly 11 months old. He really started to walk around a week before he turned 1. It was surprising but fun. Our little weeble wobble!
